Hasn't been blogging for quite some time liao.
Has been busy with my boy and coping with this current pregnancy.
Here are some updates of my boy attending his first Halloween at Luke Air force Base.
Jervis getting ready in his lion costume and waiting for daddy to finish up his work stuff before attending the Halloween Party.
Waiting and waiting............
Still waiting.............

That day we found out that Jervis had a cut on his last finger so we applied some lotion and put a plaster for him so that he wouldn't touch the area.
Who knows he was scared of the plaster and kept crying after we put it on for him.
Both Hubby and me just couldn't stop laughing.
Poor boy was really crying so badly and kept wanting to remove the plaster.
I tried to tell Jervis that it is a just plaster and we used to put it on if we have a cut but no matter what I say he doesn't seems to understand at all.
He just kept pulling at the plaster and crying.
Hubby tried to play with him to distract him and he managed to smile :)
After a while he still tired to pull the plaster out.
Look at his face.....hahaa......
We took a video of him when we first put the plaster on him.
So funny........
In the end he refused to sleep and kept wanting to remove the plaster, I had no choice but to remove it and he slept after that.
My silly boy :P
Heheee......
Another late post again......
This is always what happens when Daddy is on morning shift and he will spent some times with Jervis when he is off work and meanwhile I would do the dishes and had my shower :)
always love "playing" our laptop
looking at me while I took the picture
pointing at me :)
ignored me and continue playing with the mouse
Liked Hubby on morning shift so that I can have a little time of my own because he helped to entertain Jervis and kept him occupied and busy.
Heheee.............

Since my this pregnancy, I had been craving for many Singapore food like : fried carrot cake, lor mee, chwee kueh, fried kweh tiao and many more.
To satisfy my craving I decided to cook my own lor mee and make ngoh hiang to go with it.
Then I realised my lor mee just doesn't seems like the one I ate in Singapore and it doesn't bring out the flavour that I crave for.
As for the ngoh hiang, is time consuming to make it but the taste is there :)

Yesterday was my first time trying out cooking the carrot cake.
Has been craving to eat this dish for the longest time.
Before in Singapore, this dish is so easily accessible in food court and coffee shop, whereas here in the United States you have to cook it yourself if you want to eat it.
Finally I got all the ingredients and and cooked it for the first time :)
The taste wasn't that bad at all and hubby says not bad :)
My finished product of the carrot cake:
