Since my mummy went back Singapore, I had to take over the cooking duties. Normally I try to wake up early in the morning to cook (since I am a morning person) while Jervis is sleeping so that the rest of the day I will be free to look after and play with Jervis.
So far I managed to cope rather well alone at home with Jervis although it can be very tiring (so normally Jervis naps I nap too). Do feel a difference without mummy around to help but really treasure those alone times with my boy at home. (100% attention on him)
Times really flies and Jervis is going 8.5 months this coming weekend. He can now sit up himself from lying down position (although still a little unstable). He is still learning to crawl and trying to pull himself up by holding the rail of the baby crib (although he cant stand up yet). He is becoming a very lovely boy and I really treausre those moments with him :>
Enough of my lengthy words and below are some pictures I took today of him:

Yesterday we went for Xmas Celebrations at Luke Airforce Base. Its Jervis's first Christmas here in the States although he doesn't know anything about it, is an experience for him. The decorations were nicely done up and the food was delicious.
Due to Jervis's didn't take his nap therefore was rather cranky at the party. Normally he would smile at the camera when Daddy says ''1...2...3..." but he didn't smile at most pictures posted here.

We have been married for 5 years and been together for almost 10 years. How times flies and we already have a family :>
Our precious son, Jervis is going 8mths soon this dec 19th.
To make this day special for Hubby, I planned to give him a little surprise by cooking a simple meal for him to let him feel loved coming back home from TDY and can have home cooked food. Its has been a very very long time since I last cooked.
This is the first time here in States that I cooked for him as all along my mum is doing all the cooking. Hehee.......
Below is what I cooked (just very very simple dishes):
broccoli with chicken
eggs with ham and sauage
pork ribs with potatoes soup
Due to some delay Hubby is finally back home :>
Told him I cooked for him as the Anniversary gift and hopes he likes my cooking.
