My Precious Ones

Today is the 2nd day without him (Hubby went for TDY on Tue morning for the next 3 weeks) and everything still seems to go on well except there is some family problems back in Singapore that might require my mum to be back soon.

After knowing that she might be returning back soon, I do feel very very sad inside. She has been living here with me for the past 2 months and I really really appreciate her help be it helping me look after Jervis or helping me to cook our meals.

Think without her here with me, I wouldn't be able to MSN, surf net or even blog (coz my boy stick to me like glue & a demanding boy to care for). Its my mum who is here that makes my day happier and brighter as there is always someone to talk to when I am bored, someone to accompany me when hubby is at work, someone to take turns carry Jervis while out shopping or having meals outside. She had done alot alot for me. However all these are coming to an end soon once she is going back Singapore. I will really really miss her so much when she goes back Singapore.

Sob sob...... my tears keep flowing down while I am typing my blog.

In the afternoon, we went Lee Lee Supermarket to get the stuff for our tonite's steamboat at Evan's place. It seems to be a long time I last had steamboat. Hee......

We bought a lot of food like hot dogs, fish balls, meat, vegetables, fish tofu, salmon, prawns etc. (too many to mention) and went back home.

As it was still early coz we were meeting the rest at 7pm at Evan's place so I asked Hubby to teach me driving again. The 2nd attempt to drive the 7 seater car and I still find it very difficult to drive coz I still cant turn properly (either turn too much or turn too early) and I always fail to check before turning (although Hubby says I did improve like a little little bit). HaaHaaa.....

I drove like 15 mins before we went over to help Evan to prepare the food for tonite.

Had a very wonderful and full steamboat. We stayed till about 12am before walking back to our apartment to rest for the day. Thanks Evan.

Yesterday I went for the 2nd attempt for my written test. The nite before I was very hardworking, kept studying through the driving manual again and again coz I told myself I must pass it.

Woke Hubby up at 1030am , he washed up and sent me for my test. In the car I was feeling rather nervous and my hands turned cold. I looked at him and asked:"Can you give me some encouragement? Any rewards for me if I pass this time round?" I think Hubby was rather tired as he was on nite shift this week coz he looked so stoned. He finally answered me after a few minutes:"Erm......ok lor, Jia You." "HUH??? then my reward?" I asked. "This sunday treat you dim sum lor" he replied shortly. Heee...... I was smilling coz this weekend we are meeting Jeslyn and Wayne for dim sum (means I dun need to pay). Hahaa.....

Actually since I am here 2 months ago whenever we go out, I never had to pay a single cent when we dine out :>

Soon we reached, I was called to go into the room to take my test. I did it with care and I PASSED!!! I made only 5 mistakes out of the 30 questions. I was very happy when I came out & told Hubby. I am excited to drive the car to have a feel of it.

Due to Hubby's going for work so he taught me the basic and we drove a while around our apartment. WOW!!! Its isnt easy to drive at all. I kept going out of the lane or turnin too much and I cant park too.

However yesterday was just my first attempt, I am now more determined to learn to drive and I know I can :>

Hubby going for TDY this weekend and only be back in 3 weeks time. Guess I got to wait for him to come back to teach me. We (Jervis & me) will wait for your return and shall miss you lot lot.

Yesterday afternoon (21 Oct 09), went for my driving written test and I failed.

Haaa.....

Guess I didn't study enough for it. Me wasn't really keen in studying the "Arizona Driver License Manual" at all. Was just flipping through each time I took the book to study. Heee.......

Frankly speaking, I don't like to drive at all, still prefer to be chauffeur around by Hubby.

Hahaaa......

But here in the States, doesn't know how to drive is like no legs cant go out. Only during the weekends then Hubby can bring us out. Meaning Monday to Friday is like really facing the walls at home. Luckily I got my mum and son here with me if not think I would be bored to death.

After I failed the test yesterday, I am now more determined to pass it today!

Hubby doesnt need to go work and we plan to go out together with Evan and Joey.

For a start, we went ROSS to shop and bought take away burgers for our lunch. However Hubby bought the wrong burger as I dont take beef. In the end he ate the burger himself and offered to go help me get something for me to eat but I said is okay as I can eat later after shopping.

We also went to the bookstore beside ROSS and Hubby took a picture of me without me realising it at all till I saw this picture in his camera. Hahaa......

Walked a long tiring day and its time for dinner and we went Ming's Pagoda for our dinner.

Is a Saturday afternoon and hubby says he needs to go back office to clear his work so I told him to drop us at BX to shop while waiting for him to clear his stuff then pick us up.

As I was going to start Jervis on his cereals so I went BX & Commis to take a look at their baby food. There is so much variety that's on the shelves. I was rather excited actually to start feeding Jervis solid that I bought a packet of rice cereal and some fruit puree plus other groceries for the coming week home.

By the time hubby finished doing his work, is time for dinner. He sent us home to put our groceries before heading for our dinner with Joey & Evan. We went to Wong's chinese cuisine for our dinner.

The food was very tasty especially their walnut prawns which I loved it :> Will definitely go back again to eat. Hehee.......

Is a long weekend as Monday is Columbia Day, which means I have got three days of shopping. Hahaa.......

We (Mummy, Jervis & I) are all prepared and waiting for Daddy to wake up to bring us out shopping :>

However due to Daddy was on nite shift on Friday so he was rather tired and wanted to sleep awhile more so Mummy once again gotta wait for him to get up. Once again nothing to do as usual started to take pictures of Jervis. I am never tired of taking his pictures.......

Finally Daddy was up and we were ready to go out ;>

For a start we went for our lunch at Ono Hawaiian BBQ near our place with Evan and then proceed to Anthem for our shopping.

I shopped for winter clothing for Jervis & myself as winter is coming......

However during those hours of shopping, I ended up not only bought winter clothing, I also bought lots of Jervis's clothing and a pair of Addias running shoes for myself.

Before going to meet Joey for Dinner at Texas Roadhouse, Daddy was saying he saw a nice bag at GUESS store which he thinks suits me and ask if I wanna go take a look. Happily nodded my head & we went over quickily as ten more minutes to go and the shops will be closed for the day.

Guess wat???

I said "yup is nice & I like it......"

We went to meet Joey for dinner after shopping and went home to rest early after eating to prepare for the next day shopping. Hahaa.....
